In "Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa," the animal friends from the first film—Alex the lion, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe, and Gloria the hippo—attempt to return to New York City but crash-land in Africa. There, Alex reunites with his estranged parents, and the group faces new challenges and hilariously chaotic adventures as they adapt to life in the wild.
